‍

‍

Studio Arbeidsrecht supports employers, directors and executives across the full spectrum of the field: from employment contracts, dismissal and non-competition clauses to director-related matters, remuneration, pay transparency, reorganisations, employee participation and collective labour relations. Below are a number of areas of particular expertise.

Reorganisation & Restructuring

For change processes where employment law and strategy intersect. From reorganisations and restructurings to the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Always with a focus on gaining buy-in, managing risks and ensuring a workable implementation.

Boardroom & Remuneration

For employment law matters at director and board level. Advice on the appointment and dismissal of directors and senior management, executive remuneration, participation schemes, pay transparency, severance arrangements and negotiations.

Employee Participation & Labour Relations

For guidance through employee participation processes and social dialogue. Advice on collective employment law matters, including the applicability, interpretation and compliance of collective labour agreements (CLAs).
Guiding processes where social partners, the works council and the board come together, with attention to both the legal framework and the relational dynamics.

Interim

Studio Arbeidsrecht offers the opportunity to engage Claire Reynaers’ services on a project basis. This is available to both employers and law firms. Depending on your specific needs, employment law support can be provided for one or more days a week. This ensures you are fully supported, whilst always keeping in mind the link between business strategy and employment law. Examples of such situations include:

1

Complex cases and litegation

Do you have a case at the intersection of employment and corporate law, or proceedings on related matters, but find yourself short of hands?

2

Reorganisations

Are you facing a major reorganisation and unsure how to move forward?

3

Transactions and due diligence

Do you need extra support with a transaction or due diligence process that has an employment law component?

4

Temporary reinforcement of legal and HR teams

Do you need someone experienced at short notice to take over ongoing matters while one of your (senior) associates or counsel is on leave?

Or do you need a lawyer with experience as an HR Director within a management team who can establish your company’s employment law framework, after which your HR department can take over?

Or someone to support your HR team temporarily, on a project basis?

‍

Does one of these situations sound familiar? Studio Arbeidsrecht can offer project-based support, tailored to your specific needs.

Employment law with a focus on people and organisations

After nearly fifteen years in employment law at leading international firms on the Zuidas, and later as HR Director at a listed company, I learned that durable solutions rarely arise from the law alone. They call for insight into people, organisations and the interests that converge around change. Studio Arbeidsrecht is built on that conviction. I work for employers, executives and directors facing questions where legal, human and business interests come together around important decisions, including current themes such as pay transparency and equal treatment in the workplace. I'm also committed to social engagement, particularly where issues touch on the position of women within the law.
